Black Maternal Health Week BIPoC Community Red Tent

Women have been sitting in circles longer than written history.⭕ This community Red Tent, in observance of Black Maternal Health Week (April 11-18), is an intimate space for women to come together, grounded in the wisdom of ancient rituals, to experience and honor ourselves and each other as we truly are. This year #BMHW23 is centered around the theme “Our Bodies Belong to Us: Restoring Black Autonomy and Joy.” You are invited to reconnect to the Wisdom of the Holy Temple, which is your body and the Divine Feminine that resides within each of us.❣️ This gathering will serve as a safe space for sharing our stories, passing along womb wisdom, and a container of support as we embrace our individual truths and reclaim our feminine grace, power and strength; all while building a wise woman network of healing. Hosted by: Fametta Darling (@mydarlingdoula) & Robyn Briggs (@daughterofinanna) What to bring: 🌹Your Authentic Self (come as you are, all parts of you are perfect) 🌹Wear something red to connect us all to the cycle of Creation & Life held within the feminine body 🌹An item for the ancestor altar. Pictures, jewelry, letters, anything that will connect you with your ancestors Space is limited- This will be a small gathering to encourage connection + nervous system soothing. Inclusive to all women of all ages. Babes in arms are also welcome.🤱🏾 Locally produced appetizers will be served.
